Experience Android from your PC as Live CD or using Virtual Box

You do not have an andriod phone but want to experience it??? , you can do it in your computer using Virtual Box.

Andriod has it's own version called Andriod x86

This is a project to port Android open source project to x86 platform, formerly known as "patch hosting for android x86 support". The original plan is to host different patches for android x86 support from open source community. A few months after we created the project, we found out that we could do much more than just hosting patches. So we decide to create our code base to provide support on different x86 platforms, and set up a git server to host it.

This is what that allows us to run the live CD.

Downloads needed.

1.Virtual Box (recommended , it will run in VMWare also)
2.Andriod ISO android-x86-2.2-generic.iso (Download the generic from the stable releases)

Now install Virtual Box , it will take some time and Hardware Virtualistaion might be needed in your computer

How to run Andriod in VirtualBox.

Open up Virtual Box and click on new Virtual Box .

In the Virtual Box name , enter Andriod and select Linux in OS type and in Version select other.
